It is good to see that www.koonwarra.vic.au has been an inspiration to other towns within the region.
As reported in the Foster "Mirror" on 14 March 2007
"Seven towns in South Gippsland Shire are involved at some stage in the process of having a community web site via Community Geographic Domain Names, which according to South Gippsland Shire's Community Projects Manager, Ned Dennis, is "far and away the most community sites for any minicipality in Australia."
Koonwarra was the one of two small town pilots (the other being Wyndham WA) for .auCD Community Geographic Domain Names with Sandy Point also now up and running click here . Welshpool is also well on the way with their planning as is Fish Creek. Foster, Mirboo North and Meeniyan will also obtain their own sites.
