Leongatha goes on line

Leongatha joined the community domain name websites on 10 July 2008 with the launch of their site by South Gippsland Shire Councillor, Melanie Ryan, at a function attended by the hard working Leongatha Progress Association Committee, members of the town's traders, Councillors, community group representatives and other interested people.
Darryl McGannon, President of the Lengatha Progress Association welcomed everyone with the following words -
"Welcome everyone to the launch of the Leongatha
website. This website is a
huge opportunity for our township to showcase all we have to offer in
tourism, business, sporting & community groups. I am sure you will find this
site to be very user friendly and provide much information about Leongatha. So please take the time to enjoy our website and find out about our wonderful
town."
The site is still developing but already it is well worth a visit. Links on the site will enable viewers to contact any group represented on the site.
