On 24 January 2010 Koonwarra hosted the second Earth Kids event with overall numbers attending equal to the last event.

Aunty Rozzy and mascots, Perry the Parrot and Harriette the Rabbit were a great hit and we all left with her catchy music replaying in our minds and Nanna's carrots in hand.

Those that came enjoyed the kite flying too given the great sunny day.

Melanie Cole of The Outside Bit, organiser and sponser feels that the event needs another event linked with it and is considering approaching Australian Conservation Foundation and Sustainability Associations.

However, many commented on the great concept and the thanks of Koonwarra go to Melanie for planning such a happy day of fun and learning.  Parents and children alike enjoyed the day.
