Venus Bay
Koonwarra is blessed with excellent beaches close by with the popular town of Inverloch and the Bunurong coast being but a 20 minute drive from the Village. Here you can enjoy the protected beaches of Andersons Inlet or surfing and fishing the open ocean. 17km further down the coastline lined with stunning views is Cape Patterson and Eagles Nest.
Koonwarra to the surf beaches of Venus Bay is drive of approximately 25 minutes passing through Tarwin Lower which is situated on the Tarwin River. Venus Bay has 22kms of superb surf beaches. This area is a fisherman's paradise.
